The webinar was enlightening. As I was listening to the information, much was addressed that I was thinking about for a long time. And the word that struck me the most was Relevance. Although I am only 54 years old I have been in the mortgage industry when it was all done by hand. I have no problem on texting, emailing, communicating and getting the loan worked but social media is my Achilles Heel so to speak. I am one of those that lays low and just gets it done, but I understand now that I have to put myself out there a bit for people to get a good feel of what I am about.
This webinar made me realize I really do not need to change, but embrace. I need to continue on with being authentic and transparent /credible; however, I need to let people know who I am and the rest will come.
The way she explains her age group and communication style makes sense to me now.
Thank you for enlightening me on the younger generation. They communicate in a “different language” and she explained it very well.
I know I will be more sensitive when I speak to them. And I hope I can relate to them better as well.

Lenders, Realtors, and employers of all types are always watching for trends that will give them the edge over their competitors and doing their best to learn about how to capitalize on the information through marketing. One such trend is the apparent economic clout that Millennials (those born between 1980 and 1999) have, and will continue to have, well into the future. Kristin has done a very good job of studying this group, along with other segments of our population. She not only presents this research in a clear and concise manner to audiences but also works with companies in doing a Market Access Plan (MAP) – a task that is sure to become a necessity as time passes.

Her presentation at the MBA Strategic Markets and Diversity Conference was outstanding.
